What better way to get people in the mood for the upcoming summer than with a cool, upbeat bop? We put our faith in NCT Dream for upbeat summer music! The SM Entertainment boy band NCT Dream returned with the repackaged album Beatbox, which includes a new title tune of the same name, following the success of their second studio album Glitch Mode, which topped numerous charts and sold over a million copies in its first week of release.

Since the days of bow ties, suspenders, and hoverboards from Chewing Gum, the Dreamies have come a long way. We have seen them develop from teen lovebirds to million-selling heartthrobs. By experimenting with yet another musical style, the musicians demonstrate their youthful adaptability and vigor.

The lads' energetic hip-hop dance song Beatbox has loud, catchy beatboxing that melds with a cheery melody to show off both their developed rap abilities and vocal capabilities. The song's mellow yet groovy vibes transport listeners back to the 1990s, and the music video is also replete with throwback details like Game Boy, cassette tapes, and record players. The NCT Dream members transform into college beauties wearing vibrant retro outfits who win our hearts with their free-spirited boyish charm. For a breakdown of their colorful, season-appropriate attire, keep reading!

Look #1: Retro Street Style

NCT Dream rapper, Mark introduces the Beatbox music video, which is situated in a back alley covered with graffiti evoking nostalgia for the '90s and sporting an eye-catching blue printed shirt. The other band members, who are all dressed in casual yet stylish streetwear with big, baggy designs, join the dancing throng as he drops a rhythm. The boys, who stand for Generation Z, update their vintage outfits with contemporary touches like bright colors, Y2K stripes, and bucket hats.

Mark may be seen strutting in a pair of Vans type 73 DX sneakers in the opening shot.

The cotton hoodie that Jaemin is wearing from Liberal Youth Ministry has a bleached appearance.

Jeno wore a jersey sweatshirt with the WTAPS academy logo print and army green shorts for a relaxed appearance.

In a split-hemmed, striped T-shirt from Levi's and pressed-creased, fitted pants from Drôle De Monsieur, Haechan turned on his boyish charm. He wore black genuine Vans sneakers as his footwear.

Look #2: Fun and Youthful

NCT Dream has never been afraid to experiment with vivid colors, as shown in We Go Up and Hello Future. The Beatbox music video maintains this trend with an explosion of vibrant colors. The Dreamies create outfits that express their dynamic energy through a collision of electrifying blue and bold amber. As they parade around the campus wearing jersey sweatshirts, color-block tops, and vintage sneakers, they become everyone's favorite school kids.

Mark's athletic ensemble includes a long sleeve sports shirt from Pleasures, logo embroidered socks from Stussy, and court deck shorts from Rhude.

Haechan's amazing Mitchell & Ness hockey jersey is a product of the Supreme x WTAPS collaboration.

Along with his yellow jacket, Chenle had a PACCBET T-shirt with the graphic "eye" on it.

Jisung attracted attention with a color-blocked fitted hat from New Era x Fear of God and a graphic overload T-shirt from NAMESAKE.

Renjun donned a white jersey over a yellow classic Champion hoodie.

Look #3: Swag Night Hip-Hop

NCT Dream demonstrate their outstanding dance prowess in front of a drive-thru business with pyrotechnics ascending in the background as the music video changes from day to night. The lads dress in all-black ensembles with slouchy silhouettes and hip-hop-inspired appliques, logos, and calligraphy. Items made of denim, another essential component of hip-hop fashion, further highlight the boys' swagger.
