- Wonwoo was born in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea.

- He began taking guitar lessons after moving to Seoul in his third year of middle school.
- He auditioned for Pledis solely for experience, but he passed the audition.
- He worked as a trainee for four years.
- He is good at  Rapping, Writing lyrics, Dancing, Gaming.

-His other members said hat he is super clean.
- He began as a singer, but people told him he had a good rapping voice. Since then, he has investigated the Hip Hop scene, becoming known as a rapper and becoming a member of the Hip Hop team.

- He began taking guitar lessons after moving to Seoul in his third year of middle school.
- He claimed that when he was younger, he had a weak presence and didn't fit in anywhere, but SEVENTEEN made him stand out and always took care of him.
- He, Mingyu, and their manager all have matching phone cases.
