New debut plans, The First Step Series- 2020
On January 6, YGE announced the group's future plans on their official website. This included reorganizing as a 12-person group and combining the two units, TREASURE and MAGNUM, into a single group called simply TREASURE.
TREASURE released a performance video for their pre-debut track, GOING CRAZY, on January 30. On July 20, YG Entertainment released a teaser video and poster announcing TREASURE's August 7 debut. THE FIRST STEP: CHAPTER ONE, TREASURE's debut single album, was released on August 7. On September 7, it was announced that TREASURE's second single album, THE FIRST STEP: CHAPTER TWO, would be released on September 18.
