Park Jin Woo was born in Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea on March 15, 1996. He went to Hansu Elementary School and Middle School. He attended NY Dance Academy in Ilsan before joining Fantagio as a trainee and had been dancing since secondary school, participating in and winning various dance competitions. He transferred to Hanlim Multi Art High School in 2013, where he graduated with a concentration in Practical Dance. JinJin's family consists of his parents and his older brother. He is currently attending the Department of Entertainment & Media at the Global Cyber University.

- JinJin was born in  Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea.

- One of his talent is playing drums.

- His stage name was inspired by the webcomic "Jinjindol Evolution" (진진돌이 에볼루션), which is centered on dogs, because his laugh was said to resemble that of a puppy.

- Jinjin's stage name is also a reference to the Japanese word "Jinjin" (仁人), meaning "benevolent person."

- His favorite color is green.
