Career

Baekhyun started his career as Kpop Idol in 2012 as he debuted as a member of South Korean boy group EXO and its sub-unit EXO-K with EXO members Suho, Chanyeol, D.O, Kai, and Sehun. Baekhyun debuted as a soloist last July 10, 2019 with his first album City Ligths. He was confirmed as a member of the supergroup SuperM on August 4.

Baekhyun got enlisted to the military last May6, 2021. He got a military exemption because he has been dealing with hypothyroidism since high school. He got discharge last February 5, 2023.

Dating

On June 19, 2014, local news outlet Dispatch reported that Baekhyun and Taeyeon of Girls' Generation were dating, which was later confirmed by SM Entertainment. It was reported on September 15, 2015, that the two had broken up due to their busy schedules. SM Entertainment has yet to comment on the situation.
