On July 23, 2022, New Jeans, newest K-pop group of HYBE Entertainment’s sub-label ADOR, dropped their “Hype Boy” mv versions on HYBE Label’s YouTube channel. The MV for “Hype Boy” was made into four versions and an intro video. The versions were named Minji, Hanni, Danielle & Haerin and Hyein. Wearing their gorgeous outfits, each member was introduced on their respective music video versions and intro video. Here is some information about their outfits.
1. Minji
Wearing a Stüssy Sports swimwear Minji gives a sweet yet sexy vibe on her “ Hype Boy” MV version. She literally gives a fresh aura and makes everyone fall for her.
The MIU MIU headband added the swag on Minaj's outfit making her cool from head to toe.
On Minji's MV version. Minji has a crush on a guy she met and got his contact. They texted each other and she tried to change herself for him . At the end of the MV you can see that Minji found the guy but he didn't even remember her, she had to point to the number he wrote on her hand to remember her. The "Hype Boy" MV Minju's version reached over 1 million views on youtube in just 24 hours after releasing the MV version.
2. Hyein
Hyein gives a fancy school girl look on her “Hype Boy” MV version. Her shining metallic cloth with her checkered skirt, are contrasting giving a chick vibe that catches everyone’s attention. The Maknae of the group hooked everyone’s attention by her outstanding beauty.
On Hyein’s MV version it shows that Hyein was crushing on this guy who is distant toward her and doesn't have any intention of knowing her. She tries to get his attention by taking a picture with the asthma pump and uploading it online. When she finally got his attention, she invited him to watch her perform at a party. When she was about to approach him at the party she found out that the guy he likes was making fun of their performance. This matched the meaning of the song perfectly as they all "hype-up" their crush and have wrong expectations of them. The MV version reached over 700 thousand views on YouTube in just 24 hours after releasing the MV.
3. Hanni
Hanni was cute and innocent in her black and white top and black skirt on her “Hype Boy” MV version. The knitted material added a soft touch to her overall look.
She gives the “girl next door” vibes from head to toe and she is as fresh as can be, she also looks like a living doll on her MV version. On Hanni's MV shows that she was crushing someone she doesn't know the exact identity, a total stranger to her. When she’s about to have a chance to meet that person she approached it and happily found out who it was. She’s in love with that girl. Hanni's version reached over 1 million views on YouTube with in 24 hours after releasing it.
4. Danielle
She gives the “girl next door” vibes from head to toe and she is as fresh as can be, she also looks like a living doll on her MV version.
She made it seem like these clothes were made for her. She was absolutely stunning in her outfit. Simple yet stylish.
5. Haerin
Haerin was a total bombshell in her sassy and classy outfit on her “Hype Boy” MV version. Wearing a feather top and pink short Haerin slayed showing off her charismatic beauty making her fans scream her name.
Danielle and Haerin's MV shows that they got two-timed by a total player and thought that guy really likes them. Found out that the guy tried to fool them by flirting with them both. They decided to take revenge on him and took his clothes to the locker room. The MV version reached over 1 million views on YouTube after releasing the MV.
