In July, it was confirmed that Xiaoting would be a member of C-Group in Girls Planet 999. Her starting position was C01, and her first Planet Top 9 position was P03. She was the only contender to finish first in her group for the entire season, as well as one of the few to never leave the Planet Top 9. Xiaoting finished ninth with 700,663 points and 425,464 votes in his debut as a Kep1er member.
